The style of this home reflects that of a builders shed style which was widely used by architects in the 1960’s. Our goal was to design two new spaces, the Art studio as well as an extension of their existing kitchen and family room.  The new Art studio is designed to allow a plentiful distribution of light into the space.  The space is free of partitions to allow a flexible working environment.  The extension of the kitchen into their new family room creates a beautiful connection to the exterior patio and the natural landscape beyond.
